ROSFRITT is the only company in Russia producing fritts, glazes, and engobes for the ceramics industry on an industrial scale. Today, ROSFRITT produces every second ton of frit on the Russian market.

The company produces fritts, glazes, crystallina, engobe, smaltobbio, protection, and grits for ceramic tiles and ceramic sanitary ware. Modern automated industrial equipment, high-precision laboratory equipment, and a comprehensive quality control system at all stages of production ensure consistent product quality.

What we produce

Fritt and ceramic materials: glaze, crystallina, smaltobbio, protection and grit

Engobe

A coating of a water-mineral suspension that is applied to the surface of a raw or fired product to obtain a smoother surface, cover unwanted base color, create an artistic and relief pattern, etc.

Fritt

A glassy product in the form of granules obtained by melting special mixtures of raw materials (charge) in continuous fritt-melting furnaces.

Glaze

A mixture of fritt with raw materials (kaolin, clay, dolomite, alumina, etc.), additives and water, ground to certain parameters and applied to a clay body in order to provide aesthetic and protective properties to the ceramic product after firing.

Grit

A powdered fritt with a specific grain composition that imparts visual depth to the surface through optical refraction of light. The material is primarily used in porcelain stoneware production to achieve decorative effects such as “sugar,” polished, and lapped finishes.
